Counter Sales Position

Summary:

The Inside Counter Sales person ensures that all customers have been assisted & orders completed, maintains a strong knowledge of all product lines and represents a neat and professional appearance at the counter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assesses Sales opportunities with current dealers and customers
Assist Branch in achieving financial objectives and business plans, meet required gross margin targets
Works with Branch Manager to service and educate customers
Develop close relationships with current customers while actively seeking and developing new customers
Assist TM in account management for equipment based dealers
Implement and support product promotions with current and new vendors
Communicates daily with manager on needs, questions and opportunities
Understands and adheres to new policies set forth by company leadership
Assist Branch Manager in effectively controlling inventory, conduct required counts, proper product level setting and product management
Assist in the opening and closing of branch. 
May be required to be on call 24 hours per day to fulfill customer requirements and company opening programs
Positively promote Insco, the Management, Staff and vendors at all times
Be part of a high performance team and promote great customer service
Manage difficult or emotional customer situations
Determine customer needs, invoice order properly, manage delivery of order, assist in loading order when required and prepare paperwork for delivery
Receive weekly branch order into warehouse to replenish stock.  Stock shelves.
Prepares return paperwork and follows special order/non stock order/customer order process.

Key Competencies:
Effectively communicate orally and in writing, bi- lingual preferred.  (English/Spanish)
Microsoft Office Suite computer skills specifically experience in Word, Excel, power point, outlook and P21 processing.
Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience required in HVACR industry, products and services.
Great work ethic, Team player and dedicated to business success
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
Good decision making skills, problem solving and people skills
